Friends of Mashpee Dog Park, Inc.
The Mashpee Dog Park Committee was renamed Friends of Mashpee Dog Park on October 5, 2015, with the goal of providing ongoing stewardship for the park.
Town of Mashpee
The Town of Mashpee, upon request of the Town Manager, and by unanimous vote of the Board of Selectmen, took over the project on February 10, 2014.
The Mashpee Dog Park was opened on July 15, 2015. The total cost of construction was $209,517, funded by a very generous design and construction grant from The Stanton Foundation for $188,565.33, and community donations totaling $20,951.67.
In March of 2017, the town initiated a project to expand the parking lot from 12 to 20 spaces. This effort is also being funded by a generous capital improvement grant from the Stanton Foundation. Completion is currently planned for the fall of 2017.

The Mashpee Dog Park Committee was incorporated on March 8, 2010, with the goal of building, operating, and maintaining a public off-leash dog park.
