Town of Mashpee

The Town of Mashpee, upon request of the Town Manager, and by unanimous vote of the Board of Selectmen, assumed leadership of the project on February 10, 2014.

The Mashpee Dog Park was opened on July 15, 2015. The total cost of construction was $209,517, funded by very generous design and construction grants from The Stanton Foundation totaling $188,565.33, and community donations totaling $20,951.67.

In March of 2017, the town initiated a project to expand the parking lot from 12 to 20 spaces. The total cost of construction was $29,610, funded by generous capital improvement grants from The Stanton Foundation totaling $28,284.79, and community donations totaling $1,325.21.

Total construction costs to date total $239,127, all funded by charitable grants and community donations.
